Sunday mornings......
Good morning! It's a Sunday morning today and I still wake up early like on other days of the week. Waking up early, even before the sun rises, is a life long habit. This is one habit that I would not want to give up. I love the early morning time, the stillness, the slight chill, the lack of light and the abundant silence. Everyone is asleep. The world around me is just slowly stirring and debating whether to wake up or snooze a while longer. One or two birds flutter up and then go back to their nook to rest some more. This is a time for conversing with my Creator, to speak to him undisturbed, to give thanks to all those who have contributed to me being me and to design the day in a manner that will do me proud. I would not like to exchange this time of the day for anything else, except to be up in the Himalayas at 12,000 feet and feel the biting chill give way to the gentle warmth of the waking sun.
