Day #15. 100 days of gratitude.

Day #15 – Cabs
100 Days Gratitude Challenge 2017
I have been travelling by cab after I sold my car last month. This is a new experience for me. It reminds me of the time when I had a driver to drive me around, except this is miles cheaper and less stressful.
I don’t have to worry about how he is treating the car. Is he sitting there with the engine and AC on? Is he taking care of the car well? Will there be more expense on gas and repairs? When I had a driver, I worried about the additional expense as well as the above.
When I drove the car, I worried about the traffic, getting a parking spot, navigating through crowded roads without a scratch on the car and sundry other concerns that mostly did not materialize. So stress and tension was part of my every day life.
For the last one month, all of this has disappeared since I take a cab when and where I want to without having to concern myself about the above issues. I get back home less tired and the worry lines are reducing from my forehead and there is far less stress and tension than before.
I’m grateful for Uber and Ola. They have eased my problems by giving me affordable commute with good comfort and ease.
They have changed the way we commute and will continue to disrupt the commutation world.
This is the future. Sooner or later the world will move to owner less cars. Get ready for that.
