Day #71: Random Acts of Kindness (100 day gratitude challenge)

Day #71: Random Acts of Kindness
(100 day gratitude challenge)

Have you noticed how some people radiate warmth and happiness? What makes them like that? Would you like to be like that?

If you notice closely you will notice that they feel positively towards most people they meet. They believe that they can make the world a better place. And they do this through kind actions some of which are preplanned and some of which are random acts. They notice where they can help and they do it.

Let me share a few examples of what they do.
1. While passing a toll gate, along with the toll hand out a biscuit packet or some chocolates. The toll keepers have long hours and they get tired over a period of time with the monotony of their job. This small act can make their day.
2. Feed a stranded animal on the road. The act of looking for them and alleviating their hunger can make you feel warm and radiant.
3. Hand out usable clothes or bedsheets or food to homeless people you pass on the road. Their smile can light up your life.
4. Educate a child – not your own.
5. If you notice someone down and depressed a kind word or even a kind look can perk them up just enough to go on till things get better.
6. Share your seat in a public place when someone else looks like they need it more than you.
7. Believe that whatever you own came from someone or somewhere and will pass on to someone or somewhere else eventually. So let it go when, where and to whom you can choose... The universe will bless you mutlifold when you need it most.
8. Give a genuine compliment to someone today. Watch them light up with delight. Make this a habit and you will light up all day.
9. When you hear someone is in trouble, send them a blessing from the bottom of your heart. It can be a silent one. But feel the blessing.
10. When was the last time you delighted your parents r spouse? If it is over a month ago, time to do it today.

You get the drift, don't you? Now you can make your own list and practice them regularly. Your life will be bright, warm, filled with happiness and laughter. Try it!

I’m grateful for these random acts of kindness because it reveals that there is higher good in that person and he or she is aligned with their creator and higher purpose.
