Day #89: Water
(100 days of gratitude)
(100 days of gratitude)
There is one substance in the world which connects all of us together when we are alive. It is literally the substance that determines whether we are alive or dead. When we search for signs of life in other planets this is the substance that we search for to check whether there is life in it.
If we don’t have enough of it in our body we will die. We need to ingest it and expel it regularly so that it flushes the toxins from our body and keep.
I’m grateful for this magical substance that connects us all together – water. In its purest form, it's odorless, colorless and tasteless. It's in our body, the food we eat and the beverages we drink. We use it to clean ourselves, our clothes, our dishes, our car and everything else around us. We use it to consecrate places and people. It is an essential part of all religious ceremonies.
We can travel on it, jump into it, float up into the air using a balloon, drive an engine to travel and power our cities using its awesome properties. Many of the products that you use every day contain it or were manufactured using it. All forms of life need it, and if they don't get enough of it, they die. Wars have been fought over it. In some places, it's treasured and incredibly difficult to get. In others, it's incredibly easy to get and then squandered. This substance is more necessary to our existence than any other.
I’m grateful for this water that is in my body, in yours and in all living things in our planet. This connects us together and helps us behave as one when viewed from above. What I think affects you and what you think affects me. We all have the power to affect the collective consciousness.
