Exceptional Sunday

Sunday this week was exceptional. Can you guess why?
C'mon take a guess. Even a wild one.
Doubt you will get it right. No, I did not do something out of the world and adventurous. No, I didn't do something stupid or dangerous. No, I didn't do whatever you are thinking.
I went for a workshop titled "Exceptionalism". Strange name right?
Conducted by my friend Ramya. She's a young trainer who quit her IT job a year ago to follow her passion. Yes, she's one of the bold ones to take that decision and is making it work in a very short time.
It was a just a three-hour workshop, but she opened our eyes to what we could do to focus, energise and create our exceptional goal in life and what is required to achieve it.
Many of us are just seduced by the routine of our life that we seldom take time out to introspect on what we would REALLY want out of this life. We just settle for what we are currently doing and go with the flow without choosing to take the wheel and drive our life to where we deserve to go.
This workshop wakes us up to the possibilities and gives us a few pointers on what we should do to achieve this.
Yes in just three hours.
Since Ramya is a friend from my BNI chapter, we were a group of members and spouses who took a break from our Sunday siesta to attend this exceptional workshop.
There is no end to learning... and when youngsters come up with winning performances it is a pleasure to watch and learn.
I wish her the very best and I wish that you break out from your comfort zone and go check out what is happening in the world. Cynicism and routine are the biggest threats to our life.
Breakout and exceptionalise your life and your world.
